MuskokaLimousineServices.com plans wedding transport for Muskoka venues: the couple's car, shuttles for the wedding party and guests, and the airport and train pickups that feed them. Searching for Muskoka wedding venues is how most couples begin, and transport is usually the last thing they price, which is why it is the thing that goes wrong on the day. This page sets out how a Muskoka wedding moves, venue by venue, using real distances, and says plainly when you need very little and when you need a lot.
We are a pre-booked chauffeur service, not a street taxi, and the booker shows a fixed all-in fare before you pay. We do not publish rates, and there is no drinking in our vehicles (a bottle can still be added in the booker as a sealed gift).
How does wedding transportation in Muskoka work?
Wedding transport in Muskoka means matching vehicles to roles: a car for the couple, a Sprinter or coach for the wedding party and guests, and airport pickups timed to flight arrivals. Everything is pre-booked, flights are tracked, and a multi-stop or return trip is a single booking. Peak-date terms are printed on the confirmation.
The key insight is that a Muskoka wedding is rarely a single trip. Guests arrive on different days from different airports. The ceremony and the reception may be at different places. Accommodation may be a cottage rental, a hotel in Bracebridge or the venue itself. Each leg has a vehicle, a time and a person to hand over to, and the plan works when each is named before the wedding week.
Start with three questions:
- Where do guests sleep? On site, in nearby cottages or in town.
- How do they arrive? Pearson, Muskoka Airport, a coach to a Highway 11 town, or their own cars.
- What must happen at a fixed time? The ceremony, the photo window and the sunset all have a clock.
Muskoka wedding venues: distances and logistics
These are the lake venues most often asked about, with the official address and road distance from the airports. Distances are rounded road distances from a route planner; times are typical off-peak, and a summer Friday can add an hour or more.
| Venue | Address | From Pearson | From Muskoka Airport | Logistics note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Taboo Resort, Gravenhurst | 1209 Muskoka Beach Road | about 173 km, 1 h 55 – 2 h 20 | about 12 km | Gravenhurst, near Muskoka Airport |
| Muskoka Bay Resort, Gravenhurst | 1217 North Muldrew Lake Road | about 173 km, 1 h 55 – 2 h 20 | about 15 km | confirm 2026 event availability |
| Touchstone Resort, Lake Muskoka | 1869 Muskoka Road 118 West | about 194 km, 2 h 10 – 2 h 40 | about 20 km | on the Bracebridge-to-Port Carling road |
| Sherwood Inn, Lake Joseph | 1090 Sherwood Road, Port Carling | about 205 km, 2 h 20 – 2 h 50 | about 44 km | can be booked exclusively |
| Windermere House, Lake Rosseau | 2508 Windermere Road | about 219 km, 2 h 30 – 3 h | about 45 km | narrow country-road finish |
| JW Marriott The Rosseau, Minett | 1050 Paignton House Road | about 223 km, 2 h 30 – 3 h | about 51 km | long drive; plan staggered arrivals |
| Deerhurst Resort, Huntsville | 1235 Deerhurst Drive | about 228 km, 2 h 40 – 3 h 10 | about 54 km | farthest north of this list |
Each has its own page: Windermere House, JW Marriott The Rosseau, Sherwood Inn, Touchstone Resort, Taboo Resort, Muskoka Bay Resort and Deerhurst Resort. Each venue's official site is the place to confirm wedding availability. For this list we checked the Windermere House, Sherwood Inn, Touchstone, Taboo and Deerhurst sites; the JW Marriott details are on its own page. Windermere House's site notes that wedding dates from May through early December are fully booked in 2026, a reminder that popular dates fill early and that guest transport should be booked as soon as the venue is.
Matching vehicles to roles
All class names are "or similar", with the exact model confirmed at booking. Mercedes-Maybach, stretch and party bus availability is confirmed at booking, and a Rolls-Royce is on request through the reservations desk, with availability confirmed in writing.
| Role | Vehicle class | Passengers | Bags |
|---|---|---|---|
| The couple, arriving or leaving | Mercedes-Maybach, or a Rolls-Royce on request | up to 2 | 2 |
| The couple, with a parent | Mercedes E / S-Class | up to 2 | 2 |
| Bridal party, short run | Stretch Limousine | up to 8 | minimal luggage |
| Large bridal party | Stretch SUV Limousine | up to 14 | 4 large |
| Evening celebration | Party Bus | up to 14 | 2 large |
| Family from the airport | Business SUV or Executive First Class SUV | up to 6 | 6 |
| Guest shuttle loop | Executive Sprinter (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter) | up to 12 | 12 |
| Out-of-town executives | Jet Sprinter Executive | up to 7 | 5 |
Stretch limousines and the party bus carry little luggage, so a group that wants one still needs a second vehicle for bags. Coaches of 20 to 56 seats are available on request for bigger guest lists. See the fleet page and the party bus and stretch limo page for detail, and the Maybach and Rolls-Royce page for the couple's car.
Moving guests: Sprinter shuttles, coaches, taxis or their own cars
Guests are the largest group in the plan, so the choice of mode matters more here than anywhere else.
| Mode | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-booked Sprinter shuttle loop | venue to lodging 10 – 40 min depending on distance | fixed fare via booker | 12 bags per Sprinter | 12 to 60 guests, ceremony-to-reception loops |
| Coach, 20 – 56 seats, on request | similar to a Sprinter, with fewer vehicles | fixed fare via booker | per coach | 50 or more guests on one schedule |
| Guests drive themselves | varies | fuel and parking | their own | wedding parties on site who stay put |
| Intercity coach to a Highway 11 town, then a transfer | longer than driving, because of the transfer | fare on the operator site | one or two bags | single guests with flexible timing |
| Local taxi | varies; availability for a group is not guaranteed | metered | a few bags | a handful of guests, short hops |
The Discover Muskoka bus guide lists the intercity options: FlixBus from Toronto Union Station and Pearson to Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville, Ontario Northland from Union Station and Yorkdale, and an Air Canada Landline coach between Pearson and Muskoka Airport. They are fine for an individual guest. They do not solve a ceremony at four o'clock.
When guests can manage without us: if everyone stays at the venue and the ceremony is on site, you may only need the couple's car and a few airport runs. Do not buy a shuttle you do not need.
When a shuttle is the right answer: when guests sleep in cottages or town hotels, when the ceremony and reception are in different places, when the roads are narrow and unlit, or when anyone will be drinking. A pre-booked loop turns a late-night road risk into a scheduled run.
Sprinter arithmetic is simple. An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12, so 60 guests on one outbound loop need five Sprinters, and a smaller loop with a return leg may need only two or three. We build the plan from your head count and the time window.
Airports and arrivals for out-of-town guests
Guests fly into several airports. Pearson is the main one, about 173 to 228 km from the venues above. Muskoka Airport (YQA) is far closer, between 12 and 54 km, and suits private and small-aircraft arrivals; scheduled airline service there has been seasonal, so check the carrier for your date. Billy Bishop is the downtown option.
- Flight tracking is included on every airport pickup.
- Waiting is free for 60 minutes after international landings, 30 after domestic, 15 on other pickups.
- Meet and greet inside arrivals, with a name board, is a booker option, and an alias name is available on request.
- Train arrivals are tracked too.
See the Pearson page, the Muskoka Airport page and the Billy Bishop page. Guests flying in from further away can use the flying to Muskoka guide.
A sample wedding-weekend timeline
Every wedding differs, so treat this as a template to adapt, not a promise of how your day will run.
- Thursday and Friday. Guest arrivals in waves from Pearson and Muskoka Airport. Group pickups by landing time, not by family, so no vehicle sits half empty.
- Friday evening. A rehearsal-dinner shuttle from lodging to the venue and back.
- Saturday morning. The bridal party's car for hair, makeup and photographs.
- Saturday ceremony. A shuttle loop from lodging, timed to arrive 20 to 30 minutes before the start.
- Photographs. The couple's car on hourly hire, with the driver ready for the sunset window.
- Reception end. Staggered shuttles back to lodging, with the last run set before the night begins.
- Sunday. Departures to the airports, working backwards from flight times.
Hourly hire is a booker mode. Multi-stop and return trips are one booking. The wedding transportation planning guide walks through the timeline in more detail.
Highway timing on a wedding weekend
Wedding weekends overlap with cottage traffic. In July and August, Friday afternoon northbound and Sunday afternoon southbound are the slow windows on Highway 400 and Highway 11, and a Sunday departure to Pearson needs a longer margin than a weekday. Long weekends stack two peaks; see the Thanksgiving and long weekends guide and the Highway 400 and 11 traffic guide.
Autumn weddings add fall colours and earlier sunsets. Winter weddings need snow time. See winter and ski transfers and the fall colours tour.
Peak dates, cancellations and changes
Cancellation terms are counted from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours' notice no charge; 72 hours or less 10%; 48 hours or less 50%; 24 hours or less or no-show 100%. Peak dates, including long weekends and big weddings, may carry a different deadline, which is printed on your confirmation. Read it when it arrives. If your guest count or flight schedule changes, update the booking early.
Privacy, security and celebrity weddings
Chauffeurs do not photograph clients or post about trips, and NDAs are available on request. You can ask the desk to keep your details private and leave a note with the booking, and an alias name is available for meet and greet. Our chauffeurs are not security officers, though a VIP security guard can be added in the booker; for a client with a security team, our chauffeurs work alongside it. See VIP and private client transportation.
Children, elderly guests and accessibility
Child seats, toddler seats and booster seats are booker options. Pets travel in a carrier, so tell the desk about a pet when you book; trained service animals travel free. Tell the booker about guests who need help getting into a vehicle so the right class is dispatched. The child seats and family travel page covers family weddings.

The services hub lists every service. For wedding parties staying in a town rather than a resort, see Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville, and the Muskoka hub for the rest. For the fare logic, see the fare guide.
How the fare is shown
No price table, deliberately. The booker shows the fixed all-in fare for your exact pickup, drop-off and vehicle before you pay, with HST included and nothing added at the end of the trip. For a multi-vehicle wedding, our travel desk can help you build the plan.
Frequently asked questions
How do I book a wedding limo in Muskoka?
Use the online booker for each leg, or contact the travel desk for a multi-vehicle plan. Enter pickup, drop-off, date and vehicle, and the fixed fare is shown before you pay. Book as soon as the venue date is confirmed.
How many Sprinters do I need for 60 guests?
An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers, so 60 guests on a single outbound run need five. A two-wave loop can use fewer vehicles. Give us the head count and the time window and we will plan it.
Can a stretch limousine carry the wedding party's luggage?
Not much. Stretch Limousines and the Party Bus have little room for luggage. Send bags in a Business SUV or Sprinter. Availability for stretch and party-bus classes is confirmed at booking.
How far is each Muskoka venue from the airport?
From Pearson, about 173 km (Gravenhurst resorts) to about 228 km (Deerhurst). From Muskoka Airport, between about 12 and 54 km. See the table above for each venue, and allow extra time on summer Fridays.
Is there a bus that gets guests to the lake venues?
Coaches such as FlixBus and Ontario Northland serve Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville, and Air Canada Landline runs between Pearson and Muskoka Airport. None reaches the lake resorts, so guests need a car for the last leg.
What happens if a guest's flight is late?
Flight tracking is included on every airport pickup. Waiting is free for 60 minutes after international landings and 30 after domestic ones. Other pickups include 15 minutes. Tell us early if a group will be split.
What are the cancellation terms?
Counted from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours' notice no charge; 72 hours or less 10%; 48 hours or less 50%; 24 hours or less or no-show 100%. Peak dates may carry a different deadline, printed on the confirmation.
Do you provide alcohol in the limousine?
There is no drinking in our vehicles (a bottle can still be added in the booker as a sealed gift). Ask the travel desk about your plans before the wedding week, and plan any on-board arrangements within the rules that apply to you.
What does wedding transportation cost?
The booker shows the fixed all-in fare for each trip before you pay. We do not publish a rate table, because the fare depends on the route, the date and the vehicle class you choose.
