Which airport should you use for Muskoka?
For most visitors it is Toronto Pearson, about 170 km from Gravenhurst, or Muskoka Airport (YQA) in Gravenhurst itself if your airline flies there. Billy Bishop, Lake Simcoe Regional, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo and North Bay are real alternatives, and MuskokaLimousineServices.com meets all of them with a pre-booked car at a fixed fare.
A search for "Muskoka airport" finds Muskoka Airport, but most people who fly to Muskoka land somewhere else and drive. The better question is which airport sits on the easiest road to the lake you are going to, and whether the airline's schedule suits your day. This hub lists every airport we serve, with road distances to the three main towns.
Ontario airports: distances to Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville
Distances are road distances, rounded, from the airport to each town centre. The time column is the typical off-peak drive to Gravenhurst; add roughly 15 minutes for Bracebridge and 40 to 55 minutes for Huntsville. On summer Fridays and holiday Mondays, add the allowance in our traffic guide.

A few things stand out. North Bay is closer to Huntsville than Pearson is, which matters for Algonquin and Lake of Bays travellers. Lake Simcoe Regional, north of Barrie, is the closest of the southern airports to the lakes. Muskoka Airport is a few minutes from Gravenhurst and Bracebridge, which is the point of flying there.
Muskoka Airport (YQA): the one with the lake views
Muskoka Airport is in Gravenhurst, and it is run by the District Municipality of Muskoka. On 15 June 2026 Air Canada started a Landline coach service between Muskoka Airport and Toronto Pearson. The coach ride carries no extra charge for Air Canada customers, and Air Canada's launch notice lists two departures each way daily. The Town of Gravenhurst's visitor page adds that parking at the airport is free through 31 December 2026 and that there is a premium lounge with charging stations.
For cottagers it works in a particular way. You do not collect a car at YQA unless you hire one. A chauffeur meeting you there can reach Gravenhurst or Bracebridge in about 12 minutes, Port Carling or Bala in roughly 40, and Huntsville in about 35 to 40. See the Muskoka Airport page, the Muskoka airport limo page, and the guide to flying to Muskoka.
Quebec and cross-border arrivals
Longer trips are possible, and the cars are the same. Montreal Trudeau (YUL) is a long haul, around 525 to 610 km depending on the town, so most travellers fly to Toronto and drive from there. Buffalo Niagara (BUF) is about 320 to 370 km from the three main towns before border time. Travellers crossing from the United States need their passport or other required documents, and the border wait is not something any driver controls. See the individual pages for the details.
The Muskoka to Montreal, Muskoka to Ottawa and Muskoka to Niagara Falls route pages cover road trips that do not start at an airport.
Travelling from the rest of Canada
If your trip starts in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Halifax or Quebec City, you may need a car at the home end as well. We have no cars or offices outside Ontario. For those trips, the airport car at that end is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local partner from the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, booked and supported by the same desk. Those partner vehicles are no more than four model years old.
The airport pages are Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Halifax and Quebec City. Muskoka has no direct service from any of them, so you will normally connect at Pearson. A booking can carry the Muskoka leg as well, as a return trip or multi-stop plan.
Private aircraft and charter arrivals
If you arrive by business jet, a car can meet you at the FBO ramp rather than at a terminal. The private jet FBO transfers page covers how to plan it, including how the chauffeur works alongside your own security team. Our chauffeurs are not security officers, though a VIP security guard can be added in the booker.
How to choose between two airports
Three questions settle most cases. First, which airport has a flight at a sensible hour for your day, since a four-hour drive from a convenient flight beats a short drive from a bad one. Second, where in Muskoka are you going, since North Bay is closer to Huntsville than Pearson is, and Lake Simcoe Regional is closest to the southern lakes. Third, how much luggage and how many people are travelling, since that decides between a car and a coach.

The Northlander train, planned to stop in Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville, had no confirmed start date in the sources we checked; Ontario Northland publishes the latest. For comparisons town by town, use the Toronto to Muskoka planner or the Muskoka hub.
What every airport pickup includes
Flight tracking on every airport pickup, so the car follows the aircraft rather than the schedule. Free waiting is 60 minutes after an international landing, 30 after a domestic one, and 15 on other pickups. The Meet and Greet service inside arrivals is a booker add-on, with an alias name on request. Child seat, toddler seat and booster seat options are in the booker. Tell the desk about a pet when you book, since pets travel in a carrier; trained service animals ride free. Ask the desk to keep your details private, or add a note with the booking. Vehicles and chauffeurs are licensed and commercially insured.
The fare is fixed and all-inclusive, with HST included and nothing added at the end of the trip. We do not print prices on these pages, because the right number depends on your pickup, drop-off and vehicle. How private car fares work explains what moves it.
