The Clevelands House site gives the address as 1185 Juddhaven Road, Minett, Ontario, P0B 1G0, on Wallace Bay on Lake Rosseau, reached via Peninsula Road, which carries the Highway 632 designation. It describes the property as being at Wallace Bay since 1869. The Muskoka Lakes Chamber of Commerce traces the name to Charles James Minett's family, who received a Free Land Grant in 1869 and built a home they called Clevelands House; the post office was later renamed from Clevelands to Minett. - The marina. Open seven days a week until 12 October 2026 for gas, LCBO and marina supplies. As of 2026 the boat ramp is listed at $30 in and out plus HST. Slips are available by the night or the season.
- The shops. A small group of shops operates, including Abbey's Bakehouse, daily from 8 am to 4 pm, and Boathouse Yoga Co. holds weekend classes.
- The Rock Golf Club. A golf club on the property, with the season listed as opening on 29 May.
- Redevelopment. The site says plans to revitalize the property will bring new lodging, amenities, dining and retail, without dates.
The LCBO is Ontario's government-run liquor retailer; the site lists it among the marina supplies, so check what is stocked before relying on it.
What the municipalities say about the future of the site
The most reliable public detail comes from planning paperwork rather than marketing. On 19 February 2026 the District Municipality of Muskoka and the Township of Muskoka Lakes issued a notice of a joint public meeting, held on 12 March 2026 at the municipal office at 1 Bailey Street in Port Carling. It concerned amendments to the official plans and the zoning by-law for 1048 and 1112 Juddhaven Road in the Resort Village of Minett.
The notice describes Phase 1 of a larger redevelopment of the lands associated with Cleveland's House Resort, the Wallace Bay Marina and The Rock golf course. The proposal includes a new commercial resort with 48 cabins of various sizes, a marina, a wellness centre with three indoor sport courts, a gym, a spa and a yoga studio, eight retail spaces, a restaurant, five offices, boat storage, a viewing tower and a tennis pavilion. It says future phases may need further applications.
We have not seen the outcome of that meeting or any construction schedule, and we will not guess at one. If your plans depend on an opening date, ask the property and watch the Township's notices.
How far is Cleveland's House from Toronto and from the airports?

A coach beats a private car for a single traveller with one bag and a flexible day. Cleveland's House is as much a marina and golf destination now as a hotel, so three kinds of trip are common.
Marina pickups and drop-offs. The marina is on Wallace Bay, reached via Peninsula Road. If your boat is moored there for the weekend, a car meets you at the marina office with your luggage and takes you to the airport or on to a wedding. Golf days. If you are playing The Rock, hourly hire keeps a car on call for the day, which suits a group heading on to dinner.
